ABOUT ME

I'm Rachel Ray Honeycutt, your downtown Knoxville community realtor.

I love unique and old houses; the stories in them are intricately woven into their design and as an agent I get to be a part of those stories.

I'm a University of Tennessee graduate in Philosophy and English. I love literature, creative writing and enjoy philosophy and poetry. I love the outdoors-I worked for a wilderness therapy program called Second Nature Blue Ridge in the Georgia mountains after I graduated from UT Knoxville, helping at-risk teens navigate through their therapy while guiding them over full wilderness with a GPS and compass, year round. I love exploring, cycling, fantastic food and cooking, creeks and rivers and travel. I have two lovely children, Ruby (5) and Sam(3), who are wild and sweet and my perfect dog Lucy, and we live right off the Urban Wilderness trails in South Knoxville.

I love getting to know clients-I love real estate because I get to work with people, helping them buy an item of value-and sell things that truly have worth.

I've always been interested in sales, but as an advisor who truly has my clients in mind, I have to help folks with products that have intrinsic and increasing value. Homes always have value, even if they need work. My job is to help you, my client, get the highest possible value for your home when selling, and get the best possible value on the home you are purchasing.

I relentlessly market the homes I list. I utilize multiple mediums: print, social media, agent/client email, the MLS, multiple online sites, and events and open houses. If one approach is not working, I will work to find something that will-I'll work with you to communicate all feedback and help you make the best choices to get your property sold. IF another agent hasn't been able to get it done in the past, I will.
